Two states, six couples, six completely different engagement shoots. That's what we shot this month and I am SO proud of the results. Things got off to a slow start this year when mother nature gave us southerners the cold shoulder for an extended Winter but things are certainly warming up quickly. We started the very first weekend of March in Florida visiting Ocala for Eric & Samantha's Maternity/Engagement shoot. It was hot and I was so happy to finally see some sun. Next was Ormand Beach for Angelique and Josh's shoot at Baldwin Park. Convincing the couple to say YOLO (you only live once) and go for it created some of the best images we have ever taken. After a long day of shooting the beach was an awesome way to relax. I simply adore Florida vacations. Cutesy couple Melissia and Michael allowed me to have some fun at Marietta Square. Being surrounded by an unprecedented number of other photographers that were taking prom photos made me ditch my comfort zone and step outside the box on location. Who doesn't love a good train track session?! My favorite image from this shoot was taken at the Gone with the Wind Museum. Lisa & Nick's will be my first wedding this year. It will be held at The Country Club of Gwinnett where we also decided to shoot their engagement pics. This session started off with quite a bit of humor when I crashed my golf cart and the groom had to come to my rescue. After that little hiccup everything was smooth sailing or riding should I say : ) I can't wait until their big day in April! Our month came full circle when we returned to Lillian Webb Park where our future groom Joseph had proposed to the beautiful Tifany. I love the challenge of using the same location and capturing it completely different than the first, second or third time! We had so much fun with all their great props and shot list. I so enjoy couples that make their engagement shoots fit them. I was stoked to find out that Tifany and I shared the same birthday! What a coincidence. Their wedding will be held two weeks after our b-day in August at Bear's Best Gold Resort in Gwinnett County.
