After weeks of hard work I am FINALLY ready to present to you, the wedding of Lisa & Nick which was held at the same location as their engagement session: The Country Club of Gwinnett located in Lawrenceville, GA. Much like their engagement session the wedding took place on a rainy day but my flash and I refuse to accept any dark or dreary photos! The couple was glowing in love and excited about their bundle of joy who's gender would be revealed during the reception. This was an intimate, clean and classic wedding with a few DIY touches from Lisa paying homage to Nick's Louisiana background......

I had the good fortune to photograph not one but TWO beautiful couples in grand manors this memorial weekend! There are sooooo many details to recall I can't wait to write full blogs!

 Justin contacted me about a week before their wedding to schedule the session. Words can not express how much I LOVE seeing the groom make arrangements for the wedding. My first year I didn't meet many grooms until the actual day of the wedding and this growing trend I find particularly endearing. I arrived to the most intimate candle light courthouse ceremony I've ever been too. The chapel was quiet and beautiful as the five of us were the only attendees.  I was so fortunate to be tagged by one of my Facebook friend's the night before Toeleah and Michael's wedding to come save the day! Being a full time photographer gives me the advantage of a flexible schedule devoted to family and photography. In this case, their original photographer was unable to get off from his regular job and they needed someone great and QUICK. We started the day off with a lovely lunch at the Pappadeaux's in Norcross. I was able to eat and get to know her family a little better before we set off to take some cutesy formal and family photos outside the restaurant. The ceremony was short and sweet minus a little hick up when the couple realized they left the rings in the lobby. They spent their first night at the beautiful Chateau Elan in North Georgia.
