It has been less than a week since Danielle and Rupert's wedding and I have already edited all the photos! I am so proud of myself so, I decided to write the blog to show it off! Danielle and Rupert are both devout Christians and have handled their courtship accordingly. I remember distinctly during their engagement mini-session how excited Rupert was about their forehead kiss because they were saving their first kiss for the big day! This is SOOOOO rare and actually made me look forward to their wedding day even more. Let me first say Rupert did not disappoint: every look he gave her was filled with adoration and he was as happy as a kid in a candy store every time I ran across him from the prep to the exit. Now that actual wedding was initially supposed to take place outdoors at Lillian Webb Park but the rain refused to let up. You would never be able to tell if this was a disappointment to the bride because Danielle did not look stressed or stop smiling or making me smile throughout the whole change up. The ceremony and reception then took place at Premier Events Hall in Lawrenceville,GA with a little over 100 guest. Following a very intimate ceremony where Danielle translated some of her vows into Spanish as an homage to Rupert's Panamanian heritage we went out back for the formals. When I noticed that the rain was at barely a drizzle I told my assistant to look up one of my favorite parks nearby. I REFUSE to not produce knock out bride & groom portraits! Once we confirmed the distance was reasonable the couple, Marcel (our video guy) and us were on the way to McDaniels Farm Park in the limo. It was the best suggestion I could have made and I am thankful to Danielle and Rupert for their flexibility and appreciation of my vision. The rest of the afternoon was a mix of spanish, reggae and old school hits with a group of people who meshed so well you would have thought they were already family for years. I wish this couple the best of luck and I have no doubt they'll have many MANY years of happiness :)
